Liverpool and Man City get handy Europa League draw

Liverpool and Manchester City will be pleased with their opponents for the Europa League last 32, after the draw was made this afternoon.

Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool will need to get past Sparta Prague to progress to the last 16 of the competition where they would meet either Lech Poznan or Braga if they should win.

Roberto Mancini shouldn’t be complaining about Man City’s tie with Greek side Aris, while Rangers face tricky opposition in the form of Portugese side Sporting Lisbon.
