Roy Hodgson is considering a move for 17-year-old Belgian wonderkid Romelu Lukaku, according to reports in the English media.
Lukaku was top scorer in the Belgian Pro League last season with 15 goals, and scored 121 goals in 88 youth matches for Anderlecht.
He has been linked to several clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Tottenham and Real Madrid, though Liverpool are said to be in the driving seat, as they are prepared to match Anderlecht’s £13 million price tag.
Lukaku, who has been dubbed the ‘new Drogba’ already has seven caps for his national team.
