Matt LeBlanc quashes hopes of Friends screen reunion

Matt LeBlanc doesn't believe a Friends TV or movie reunion is on the cards and believes it would be best to leave the series be.

The 43-year-old, who played Joey Tribbiani for 12 years in Friends and Joey, cannot think of a storyline that could possibly justify a one-off special or feature film.

“What would the story be? We all get together and what, have coffee?”, LeBlanc said. “It would be almost sad. It’s better to just imagine what those characters are doing now.

"Friends was this magical, cool thing, like lightning in a bottle, and I feel superfortunate to have been part of it."

Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox had previously expressed their interest in reprising their roles for a Thanksgiving set one-off Special.
