Meteor Choice Award winners Delorentos play the (BYOB) Barn Dance VI festival on Good Friday

We know we're not supposed to be drinking on Good Friday, but the Barn Dance VI BYOB festival is too good to resist.

Good Friday creeps up on us so quickly we nearly forget to get a stock of beer in. While we know the whole point of Good Friday is to be good, beer is just more tempting when you’re not allowed it. If you fancy having some fun this year on the holy day, you can bring your own beer to the the Barn Dance VI festival.

Among the 40 top acts playing across four barns at the Good Friday (March 29th) event are Le Galaxie, Delorentos, The Riptide Movement, Smash Hits, The Young Folk and many many more. The event takes place in a top secret location with Barn Dance buses departing from Dublin city centre throughout the day to bring you to the venue.

The event includes a wild-west themed Saloon Barn, a Live Arena, a Dance Barn, a Farmer’s Market and a Fun Fair and lots of other surprises along the way.

To ease your guilt on breaking the rules on the holy day, the Barn Dance will use some of the proceeds to send farm animals to families in Africa to help them improve their circumstances and overcome hunger, malnutrition and poverty in a sustainable way.
