Back in 2012 Carr was caught up in a tax avoidance scandal that required the person to "quit” their job and sign a new employment contract with an offshore shell company based in Jersey, which is regarded as a tax haven. However, once found out, the comedian was quick to make jokes about the issue and took most criticisms in good spirits.
Thankfully, Carr will always be remembered for his brilliant style of comedy and his ‘Shortest Joke in the World’ will definitely go down as one of his best… it's only five seconds long.
