O’Driscoll’s jaw not broken

Leinster have finally announced that Brian O’Driscoll has not broken his jaw.

The delayed confirmation on the Ireland captain’s injury will come as a relief to Leinster followers.

O’Driscoll suffered the jaw injury in Ireland’s victory over Argentina last weekend but the extent of the knock is not as bad as first feared.

It is likely that it will take Drico three weeks to fully recover as he continues to receive medical treatment.

Leinster have refused to rule him out of match against Clermont Auvergne in the Heineken Cup on Sunday 12 December.
