A frightening incident in Pamplona saw a barrier collapse during a game between home side Osasuna and Real Betis.

Thankfully, nobody was too badly injured thanks to the quick thinking of the likes N’Diaye, seen carrying a distressed young boy from the pitch at the El Sadar Stadium.

Tweets published through Osasuna’s official Twitter account read: “The south grandstand’s fence has collapsed and people are being removed from the field.

“Everyone is working together to get through this tense moment. The game is, obviously, suspended.

“Once new security measures have been applied, the match can continue at El Sadar.

“Collaboration is being sought over the public address system to help restore security measures and continue the game.”

The game – the final match of the season for both sides – did resume after a lengthy stoppage.
