Pic: A great shot of goalscorer Jordan Rossiter playing for Liverpool as a child

He doesn’t look much older now to be honest.

He doesn’t look much older now to be honest.

17-year old Rossiter scored on his competitive debut for the Reds against Middlesbrough at Anfield this evening, becoming the second youngest player to score for the first-team since one Michael Owen.

Scoring on your debut is a great achievement for any player, but it would have been extra special for Rossiter considering that he’s been with the club since he was a kid. A really young kid at that…

Jamie Carragher was made up for Rossiter and we’re sure he wasn’t the only Liverpool fan feeling that way.

Remember the name folks.
