When it comes to road signage, the Irish approach is that bit different to most other countries.
In fact if you visited Ireland for the first time you would pick up a quick understanding of Irish culture by merely observing our road signs alone.
We recently saw this road sign in Meath, telling motorists to ‘take it handy’, and this example comes from Fenor, Co. Waterford and is every bit as humorous as it is insightful.
When it comes to calling a spade a spade, it will be difficult to beat.
