We thought we couldn’t love Commander Chris Hadfield anymore and then he goes and tweets proof that he played a gig with our very own Chieftans last week.
The Rolling Stones, Luciano Pavarotti, Tom Jones, Ry Cooder and Madonna. In their career that has spanned over 50 years, The Chieftans have played with pretty much everybody you can think of.
However, we doubt they have ever played with anyone in space before. But the phenomenon that is Commander Chris Hadfield, the Canadian astronaut who is currently on the International Space Station, can now add this string to his bow too.
Hadfield (@Cmdr_Hadfield) tweeted out this picture this afternoon, showing him playing, via satellite, with the band at a gig last week.

And the song they performed together? Moondance of course.
