Newmarket-on-Fergus’s Alan Barrett picked up a nasty head wound over the weekend.
With less than a week to go, the mood in the Banner is pretty high, especially if the number of songs sent in to us from there over the weekend is anything to go by.
But they are still playing some hurling down there too, and Newmarket on Fergus hurler Alan Barrett posted this pic on Twitter yesterday of a very nasty injury he picked up.
In typical hard man style, Alan labels it only a ‘flesh wound’ but we reckon this has to hurt quite a bit.
