We’ll miss him when he joins the rest of us on Planet Earth, but for now we’re making the most of his pictures. And yesterday’s offering was pretty cool.

Commander Hadfield is planning on coming back down shortly but has been keeping the quality pictures from space coming, and his Irish photos have proved incredibly popular on Twitter.
Today he posted up a picture that was taken yesterday showing the storm clouds hovering ominously, and while it is difficult to make out the dear old country of ours, Chris assures us this is taken off our coastline. And he wouldn’t lie to us.
Yesterday the weather was pretty changeable and some parts of the country experiencing downpours, but it all looks so much nicer from space.
