His move to Bayern Munich has been confirmed, but here is where it all began for the young Spaniard.

Anyway, today the great man has added Bayern Munich to his impressive list of employers (Real Sociedad, Liverpool, Real Madrid) when he completed a €10million move to the German champions.
That news inspired one of our favourite Twitter accounts, AntiqueFootball, to dig out a vintage image of the Spanish star when he was just learning his trade.
Taken in 1995, when Alonso was just 13, it shows the future World Cup winner playing for Antiguoko, a youth club that acts as a feeder to Real Sociedad.

Alonso, along with fellow Antiguoko team-mate in this era Mikel Arteta, would go on to have hugely successful careers in the game. We pity any youth team who had to face that duo in midfield.
