Pic: It’s so warm in Donegal there’s a camel on a beach…

We’re used to brass-monkey weather here in Ireland, but it looks like the sun has brought a new visitor out to the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal, in the form of a camel.

We’re used to brass-monkey weather here in Ireland, but it looks like the sun has brought a new visitor out to the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal, in the form of a camel.

It’s not everyday you see a camel roaming around in Ireland, but one was spotted out on a beach in Donegal yesterday. The pic was shared on Twitter by @VisitInishowen who said, “#buncranamusicfestival new visitor! A Big Bagatelle fan!!! (11th-14th July) #Inishowen #Donegal”.

According to comments on Reddit, the camel is actually part of a circus group that has set up close by, and the camel’s owners were just out taking it for a walk in what the camel might consider familiar territory.

If you managed to snap any pics of the camel yourself make sure to send them into us on Twitter or Facebook.
