Jose Mourinho felt that a Crystal Palace ballboy was deliberately wasting time and that’s why he confronted him during Chelsea’s defeat at Selhurst Park.
Mourinho wagged his finger at the young boy and admitted to warning him that one of his Chelsea players might punch him if he didn’t give the ball back quicker.
“I don’t like the ball boys provoking the players,” said Mourinho.
“Because at the end of the day what happens it what happened last year at Swansea when a player loses a bit his temper and after that the player is guilty of something that the player is not guilty. I dont think it’s right to educate kids like that.
“I told the ball boy not to do that because he runs the risk of one of my players punching him or losing his temper. Someone told him to do that.
“I went there to stop Azpilicueta… All my four defenders are phenomenal in their attitude.”
