Ahead of a special World Cup-themed episode of the show this month, Spanish giants Barcelona are the latest club to be given a bit of a Simpsons makeover.
Following in the footsteps of Chelsea a few weeks back, Barcelona players Neymar, Lionel Messi, Xavi and Iniesta have been drawn in the guise of the most famous yellow-coloured family and as usual, the resemblance to their real-live selves is pretty much on the money.

Although Chelsea, Juventus, Boca Juniors, Zenit, Porto and Corinthians have or will all be given the Simpsons treatment at some point, Barcelona are arguably the most suitable candidates considering that their possession-based game bears most resemblance with the most famous instance of soccer in The Simpsons to date… (we couldn’t find an English version of the clip below but the foreign commentary is actually quite funny all the same)
