Isn't it great when childhood cartoons are put in unlikely settings? Sure we can only assume this is what Tintin would look like if he ever decides to come to the Emerald Isle.

Isn't it great when childhood cartoons are put in unlikely settings? Sure we can only assume this is what Tintin would look like if he ever decides to come to the Emerald Isle.

We don't think the young Belgian reporter ever managed to fit in a trip to Ireland, but rejoice in the splendour of what it would probably look like. On a electrical box at the back of the Four Courts you'll find this masterpiece.

Call it social commentary or just a piss take, it's damn funny. Green track suit, a dirty great baseball cap and what can only be a can of Dutch Gold - sounds about right.

In fairness, though, if the designer wanted to be completely accurate then Snowy should have been transformed into some kind of bulldog. But we won't split hairs.
