Pic: Possibly the cruellest Robbie Keane photo caption you'll ever see

Robbie Keane took in an LA Lakers game the other night alongside some celebrity friends, but as far as the paparazzi were concerned, he’s just another star struck fan.

Robbie went along to the Staples Center to take in the Lakers’ clash with the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night with ‘celebrity friends’ David Beckham and Russell Brand for company.

While Beckham and Brand were instantly recognisable to all the photographers present, it seems as if the Irish captain doesn’t quite operate on the same level as far as the LA media are concerned.

All three took time to pose for a picture with a couple of fans, but instead of affording Keane the same status as Beckham and Brand, judging by the caption in the picture below, the photographer obviously mistook Robbie for an older brother of the two fans as opposed to celebrity A-lister.

If you can't quite make out the caption in the picture below, it reads: 'Soccer player David Beckham (L) and actor Russell Brand (3rd L) pose for a photo with unidentified fans during the NBA basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakes and the Dallas Mavericks in Los Angeles, October 30, 2012.

Keep the chin up Robbie; you’ll win over those fickle Hollywood folk eventually.
