Pic: So, one of the stars of Anchorman was in Naomh Jude GAA club yesterday to watch a match and have a pint
Whammy, whammy!
JOE has never hidden our love for Anchorman but it seems that the lads of the Channel 4 news team can't get enough of Ireland also. A few weeks ago, we told you about Paul Rudd declaring his love for Ireland while Will Ferrell has been on holiday here quite often.
It looks like David Koechner, aka Champ Kind, is trying to outdo his co-stars though by taking in a St Judes GAA match and even having a pint with the lads after their win.
Yes it seems that whenever Koechner isn't "getting a couple cocktails in , starting a fire in someone's kitchen or taking his pants off in SeaWorld", he loves to take in some hurling and have a few pints.

Koechner wasn't content with having just having a few drinks though, he was also given a little souvenir to remember his time at the Templeogue club. We can see him opening up a Hollywood branch of the St Jude's fan club any day now.
Lovin' the randomness that this evening in @clgnaomhjude, @DavidKoechner popped in for a pint ... #AllStarClub pic.twitter.com/wcRumIWy3a

Regarding the hurling championship, St Judes are in the quarter-finals and currently top of their group containing Ballinteer, Crumlin and Lucan. We are sure that Koechner will be keeping a close eye on their progress.
The club also had representatives in Croke Park last Sunday against Kilkenny, Danny Sutcliffe with the Dublin senior hurlers and Mark Maguire with the minors. JOE wonders if Champ Kind can do this type of thing with a hurl though?
Now JOE would love to see that.
Cheers to Garreth Collins who gave us the heads up.
