Are they about to play a football match or are they on their way to an exclusive black-tie gala? We really can’t tell.
You’ve probably caught a glimpse of it already, but just in case you didn’t, the huge news emanating from Spain last week was that Segunda Division B outfit CD Leonesa unveiled the ‘tuxedo’ home hit they will wear next season.
Impressive as the Hummel design looked at its unveiling, the proof was always going to be in the pudding when they debuted it during an actual match and that they did in a friendly last night, posing for this quite brilliant team photo before kick-off. We hadn’t even realised the white jacket, black shirt style on the keeper’s jersey before.

Pictures also surfaced on Twitter of the Leonesa players in action while wearing the jersey and while there’s something quite not right about wearing a tuxedo while getting all sweaty and dirty – it’s more of an after-dinner kit, really – we don’t think the sight of it will ever get old during the course of next season.
Well this is brilliant. La Cultural Leonesa (2B side from Léon) sporting their tuxedo kits. pic.twitter.com/t2q7ZJ8x0x
