The Boys in Green will need little motivation when taking on the world champions in Gelsenkirchen this evening, but it appears as if one particularly important member of the German team isn’t as prepared for the clash as he might be, considering he thinks it’s Scotland they’re playing, not Ireland.

We’re pretty sure that this was an innocent mistake on the part of the Real Madrid midfielder, but if taking a slight against it is what Martin O’Neill and the lads need to help push us towards a decent result against Jogi Loew’s men tonight then we’ll certainly take it.
