Pic: We guarantee this is the biggest Amazon delivery you’ve ever seen

They're not getting this through the letterbox, but what is it?

They’re not getting this through the letterbox, but what is it?

This intriguing picture was posted on Reddit today by a user called listrophy

Amazon box

They posed the very simple question: ‘What’s the largest item you can have shipped from Amazon? Because I think my neighbor just got it.’

The answer is a car, but the folks at Amazon are not shipping cars out. Not yet anyway.

This was all part of a promotion launched by Nissan a few months back. If you entered your info onto a special page on Amazon expressing an interest in buying a Nissan Note and if you were among the first 100 who bought one, you scored a $1,000 Amazon card. As a special bonus three of those buyers would get the car delivered by Nissan in a giant Amazon box, along with a film crew for what we assume is an ad that will be broadccast somewhere soon.

It’s a pretty cool idea by Nissan, and one that has garnered them lots of publicity today.

And, as many of the comments on Reddit suggest, imagine the fun you could have with the box?
