Martin Jol’s Fulham career is over after another defeat yesterday, and no wonder with this scoreline
Many have speculated that the appointment of Rene Meulensteen was the first step towards the exit door for Martin Jol, and that’s certainly the way things have played out this afternoon with one Dutchman replacing the other at the helm as Jol got the boot.
It’s little wonder given their recent form, but we imagine that the straw that broke the camel’s back was yesterday’s result, as the BBC are reporting that it was a very, very bad day for the defence.

Even by JOE’s Sunday league team’s standard, that’s not very good, and we’re fairly sure it would be a Premier League record. We’re also presuming that Joe Cole got 28 of the 30 goals, seeing as he’s the only other scorer listed.
