Picture: Rory McIlroy shows us why there’s no golf in Arizona

Action at the WGC Match Play Championship in Arizona has been called off today due to snow, of all things.

Rory McIlroy has tweeted out this great photo of the weather in Arizona today which has caused the WGC Match Play Championship to be called off, and it's snowing pretty heavily somehow!

We must admit, it's pretty weird to see snow on a cactus.

The weather in Arizona is normally dry and fairly warm, so this is a real turn up for the books, but McIlroy did point out that it snowed in Arizona a few years back, but that it was nothing like this, saying to the BBC “there are three or four inches on the putting green. It's ridiculous”.
