It doesn't look like Sam is getting the first class treatment from the folks at the airport though
The Dublin GAA squad are headed to off to Chicago with the Division 1 Cup, the Delaney Cup and the Sam Maguire firmly tucked away in their hand luggage. However, it looks like the lads of the Dublin GAA panel might be getting a little bit too comfortable with Sam if these pictures are anything to go by, as the iconic trophy seems to be pretty perilously perched on top of Bernard Brogan and Paul Flynn's bags.
Eleven players and management will also take in the sights of New York thanks to Aer Lingus, official travel partner to Dublin GAA on a short trip to support Gaelic Games in North America. The famous trophy will be doing a tour of various clubs in the Windy City and the Big Apple, whilst the players will host coaching sessions for children in both cities to get them familiar with the game and grow it over there.
