Most lads will be content with a box of chocolates, a bunch of flowers or bringing their Ma to Sunday lunch next weekend, but some fellas will go all out to impress a lady who, much to the frustration of our better halves, is still the most important woman in the lives of most Irish men.

We imagine it’s a similar situation in Wales, so we would advise men in that part of the world to avoid the following offer when giving a gift to their own mothers on Sunday week…

Further research has told us that the actual offer is far more innocent – it’s just dinner – than what is implied in the picture above, but the people behind the pub’s website might want to consider a different layout to avoid more confusion in the future.
