We know what the Mankato Free Press were trying to do here, but it went badly wrong.
A Minnesota newspaper was running a feature this week on the health benefits of grapefruit. Not the most interesting piece we think you’ll agree and the page layout people did too so they decided to jazz up the headline with a bit of clever graphics.
Sadly, the designer didn’t account for how most people would read the headline.

Today, the publisher of the paper, Jim Santori, said: “Obviously, in hindsight, we would have done this differently.”
Yep, lesson learned we suspect.
