Both Sheffield Wednesday and the crowd at Wembley will pay their own touching tributes to those who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster
Arsenal take on Wigan at Wembley today in the FA Cup semi-final, and there will undoubtedly be tributes paid before the game, and around the grounds in the Football League and Premier League too, to mark the anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.
With that in mind, there will be a fantastic gesture from both teams and the FA at the ground today, as 96 seats opposite the tunnel will be left vacant, with only Liverpool club scarves draped over them as a mark of respect for those who lost their lives.

Around the rest of the grounds, games will kick off later also, while Sheffield Wednesday have marked the occasion with a beautiful tribute of 96 personalised roses on seats in the lower west stand.
