We shouldn’t expect anything more from the television host, and riling people up on Twitter seems almost a full-time role for the Arsenal supporter.
Like a lot of Gunners, he is still not over Robin Van Persie’s transfer to Old Trafford, and took a great deal of pleasure from ‘Van Pursestrings’ failure to find the net tonight.

Naturally, he got dog’s abuse in return, exactly what he was looking for when he sent the provocative tweets, while also pointing out that his beloved Arsenal are the only English side left in the competition.
We expect them, and Arsene Wenger, to come in for similar treatment again should they fail to overturn their first-leg deficit against Bayern next week. It comes just days after his stinging criticism in their North London derby defeat to Spurs on Sunday.
Empy vessels and all that.
