Buoyed up by victory over Dortmund, Arsenal fan Piers Morgan couldn’t wait to troll Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Rio Ferdinand.
Over the summer, he was one of the biggest critics of Arsenal but now that they are winning, Piers Morgan is fully behind his boys again. Ah, the fickle world of football fandom, eh?
Anyway, as you might imagine, Morgan really enjoyed watching the Gunners go to Germany and beat last year’s Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund 1-0, setting Arsenal up very nicely for qualification for the knock-out phases.
But before that, Arsenal have to travel to Old Trafford to play Manchester United on Sunday and Morgan couldn’t wait to put the boot in to United’s biggest names.
Just minutes after the final whistle in Germany, Morgan tweeted this.
