Protest crane outside Leinster House

Protestors have parked a small crane outside the Kidare street entrance of Leinster House.

The crane, which is covered in derogatory placards, was put in place in the early hours of the morning.

‘Anglo Toxic Bank,’ ‘Winner Dermot Ahern €250,000 payoff,’ and ‘4 million pension losers’ are just three of the messages paraded on the crane.

A man is seated in a cage at the top of the crane, playing music and throwing tennis balls.

Gardai are reported to have removed several of the anti-government placards from it.
