Ref-Cam gets the go-ahead for Super Rugby this weekend

Ref-Cam has already been trialled in England, and this weekend it will get its first Super Rugby run out when the Reds clash with the Waratahs.

FOX Sports will be at hand for the big game with the camera attached to the referee’s ear-piece, giving a different perspective on the action.

It was trialled in the pre-season and the footage above is from a game between the ACT Brumbies and an ACT representative side in Canberra.

Chris Pollock will be the man in the middle this for Saturday night’s clash at the Suncorp Stadium.

And if things get out of hand, a dust-up in front of the ref will be like front row seats for us.
