Our new gaffer will be in London to ‘run the rule’ over the midfielder tonight, according to newspaper reports this morning.

A full round of Premier League games will keep us all amused tonight and tomorrow and our new international duo, Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane, will be out and about doing their jobs and watching some players.

Keane is expected to be at Old Trafford tomorrow to watch Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy take on Manchester United but the big news, according to today’s Sun, is where Martin O’Neill will be.

Our manager will be at Selhurst Park to watch Crystal Palace host West Ham tonight and the paper’s Owen Cowzer reports that Joey O’Brien, Damien Delaney and Mark Noble will be watched. The first two we know all about so it is the latter that makes the back page.

The Londoner has 20 England Under 21 caps but with grandparents from Cork, he qualifies for Ireland. Reports of a potential switch by Noble have cropped up in the past but with a new management team, the Sun reckons a new bid will be launched.

The 26-year-old is a virtual ever present for West Ham this season and with over 200 games under his belt for the Hammers, he is very experienced at the top flight for his age.

O’Neill, who has said he has no problem exploring the ‘granny rule’, is perhaps beginning that process tonight.

So, what do you reckon? Would you like Noble in green? Let us know below.
