Update…
It now seems that the fancy, schmancy car that was impounded earlier today was not, in fact, Samir Nasri’s. Here’s what the footballer had to say on Twitter in response to this Daily Mail article:
Do your research daily mail that has never been my car
— Samir Nasri Official (@SamNasri19) May 26, 2014
Yeah Daily Mail, do your research. You’re making JOE look silly.
Samir Nasir has had better summers we bet, but this one took another turn for the worse when his Porsche was impounded by Manchester City Council, according to The Daily Star.
This just popped up on our Twitter feed:
Man City star Samir Nasri has £100,000 Porsche impounded adding to World Cup woe http://t.co/OM7zM1XFMA pic.twitter.com/gyRB9zm8jW

Fresh after the body-blow of being left out of France’s World Cup squad, the French midfielder’s £100,000 (€124k) Porsche was impounded by local authorities in Manchester as it was a ‘severe parking obstruction’. The 26 year old is currently on holiday in Dubai, but will have to fork out £170 for the parking violation.
Given that he’s on about £180k a week, he shouldn’t have too many problems paying it back.
