It’s been at least six weeks or so since Kanye West showed up in Dressed in the Dark but after his whiter-than-white outfit at the BET Awards last week, we reined him back.

When your girlfriend has a slim waist and an arse the size of Brazil, you’ve hit the jackpot – especially if you’re a hip hop star, in which case lady bums occupy around 40 per cent of your rhymes.

For Kanye West, despite the fact that many of his loyal fans are afraid that he’s about to become the next member of the unstoppable Kardashian clan, it’s clear that his current beau Kim has already made her mark on her new man.

How else to explain Kanye’s all-white ensemble to the BET Awards bash last week, which brought back long forgotten memories of those matching leather outfits from the Beckhams in the late 1990s? Take a look at the new power couple’s outfits below:

Our eyes! Ze goggles, zey do nothing!

Looking like he had just taken a fully clothed wash in a jacuzzi filled with Daz tablets, Kanye wore white from head to toe, just like his new girlfriend.

Was this a strange nod to the Wimbledon tournament that had just taken place or was Kanye so blinded by his outfit that he stepped out without realising that he was only dressed in one primary colour?

Jay-Z mocked Kanye’s memorable MTV VMA Taylor Swift acceptance speech interruption on the night

Perhaps he’s already becoming a Kardashian puppet, having potentially lost his most memorable asset – his ability to create outfits which no-one else thinks look good. In this case though, he might have been following Kim’s wishes.

At the very least, this garish outfit is ruined the second a ketchup sachet is recklessly ripped open and for that reason alone, we don’t recommend readers try to follow Kanye’s fashion footsteps.
