There was a christening on yesterday?
For anyone that was bored to death of the ridiculous depth of coverage dedicated to the arrival of the Royal Baby in the summer and the Royal Wedding a couple of years back, it would have been refreshing to pick up a copy of the Independent today and discover the amount of space dedicated to the christening of Prince George at St. James’ Palace yesterday.
Or should we say, lack of space.

We’ve nothing against the little fella, who is third in line to succeed the throne after all, but he’s going to get enough media attention in the coming years and months without the need to go overboard (The Daily Mail have dedicated 16 pages) on a ceremony that he knows or will remember precious little about and was a private affair after all.
