Indie/math rock band The Cast of Cheers will join the cast of headliners at the Jameson St. Patrick’s Live

Jameson St. Patricks Live in the Academy on March 17th has an impressive show line up. Supporting Bombay Bicycle Club are Irish bands The Cast of Cheers, Jape and a host of DJs next door in the Twisted Pepper.

The Cast of Cheers are a quartet band from Sligo and Dublin, with brothers Neil and Conor Adams on guitar and vocals, John Higgins (bass, vocals) and Kevin Curran (drums). They formed in 2009 and self-released their first album, ‘Chariot’ in 2010 which won the band a Choice Music Award in 2010.

The band are favourites on the music festival circuit and will play new festival Longitude this July. They’re also in the final shortlist for Best Irish Band in Hot Press Magazine and supported Two Door Cinema Club in the O2 Dublin, this year.

The Twisted Pepper will also host a 14 hour live DJ experience, starting from midday on St Paddy's Day. The line-up includes electronic music from renowned DJs Erol Alkan, Surgeon, DJ EZ and Daniel Wang throughout four separate rooms within the venue, bringing the best in house, electro, disco and garage.
