Tom Huddlestone out for three months

Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone will miss three months of action after picking up an ankle injury.

A statement on Tottenham Hotspur’s website confirmed that “Following consultation with several independent ankle specialists, it has been determined that Tom Huddlestone will undergo surgery on his right ankle.

"The procedure is likely to rule the England international out of action for around three months."

Huddlestone has played 170 times for Tottenham since making his debut in 2005, and has three caps for England.
