So the black card has been ratified, and the GAA lads on Twitter have been having their say since the news broke

If there's one thing that the GAA Congress will always throw up, its a bit of controversy and intrigue, and certainly that's been happening today, as the rule change regarding the black card has been ratified.
Players and fans have been taking to the social media to express their vues on it, and if early indications are anything to go by it's hugely unpopular.
Mark McHugh of Donegal and Colm Begley of Laois were not impressed at all to say the least, as both of them took to Twitter to vent their frustrations with the new rule.

Darran O'Sullivan was one of probably many players who now find themselves totally confused, half joking and half serious when he stated that he'd need a bit of a while to get to grips and revise all the new rules the game has had recently.

Galway's Gary Sice was also among those dissatisfied with the rule change, and Mayo's Aidan O'Shea also chimed in with his two cents on the matter, but he seems to be at least slightly more positive than the others so far.

Retired Armagh great Steven McDonnell was perhaps the most balanced recognising the added difficulty that this rule will be for refs and players, but that at least a few forwards might be a bit happier.

Of course, it wouldn't be fair to finish off without showing this brilliant meme, which accurately expresses what most lads are thinking as a result of this change.
