Two Irish lads apply to be Tottenham manager based on their brilliant FIFA 14 skills

One area that seems to be full of job opportunities these days is managing a football club in England. A spate of high-profile sackings in the last few weeks has really kicked off the managerial merry-go-round, with Tottenham’s sacking of Andre Villas-Boas on Monday the most high-profile one so far this season.

As it stands, Tim Sherwood is in temporary charge but two Irish students reckon they are better qualified than him, or anyone else, to manage the mighty Spurs.

David O’Reilly and Steven Killeen are students in UL and the arrival of study week allowed them focus on FIFA 14 properly. I think we can all agree that’s what the study week is for.

Anyway, that burst of activity allowed the lads to climb to the dizzy heights of Division 1 in Online Seasons mode and based on this feat of managerial excellence, they thought they would drop Spurs chairman Daniel Levy a line to offer their services to the White Hart Lane club.

And they did so in some style too.

Our favourite line is the ‘As you are probably already aware’ bit. Genius. We look forward to seeing the duo in the dugout at the Lane real soon.

Thanks to Michael McNulty, a friend of David who sent it in. He tells us that there has been no reply as yet from Mr Levy but we guess he is really busy.
