Ulster v Dragons Magners League game called off

Ulster’s Magners League clash with Newport Gwent Dragons has become the third fixture in the competition to be called off this weekend due to the freezing weather conditions.

Officials in the northern province took the decision to call off the game after a pitch inspection at Ravenhill on Thursday afternoon as there was no sign of the freezing weather abating and the Dragons had been due to travel over later in the day.

The game will now be rescheduled and supporters holding tickets for the match are advised that they will be valid for the re-scheduled fixture

Connacht’s clash with Aironi at the Sportsground and Glasgow Warriors’ meeting with Benetton Treviso at Firhill Stadium have also been postponed.
