Ulster’s Wallace fit to start against Bath

Paddy Wallace is fit to start for Ulster in their Heineken Cup Round three clash with Bath at Ravenhill on Saturday.

Wallace was omitted from the side selected to play the Dragons in the postponed game last weekend, due to a niggle in his lower back, but starts at inside centre.

Nevin Spence fills in at 13 for the injured Darren Cave who has had a recurrence of his hamstring injury, while Ruan Pienaar is preferred at scrum-half this week over Paul Marshall who is named on the bench.

With the match kicking off at 1.30pm, the Ravenhill gates will open at 12 noon.

Pitch heaters have been in operation for the past 36 hours, working to defrost the pitch and Ulster Rugby is confident that the fixture will go ahead.
