There’s little doubt that this was ‘one for the cameras’ from Kasper Schmeichel, but it’s still a brilliant save all the same.

Leicester City enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Blackburn at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night, but it could have been a lot different had Schmeichel Junior not kept out a deflected Morten Gamst Pedersen effort before a goal had been scored at all.

The deflection meant that Schmeichel had to adjust his body shape to get any sort of contact on the ball at all but he managed to spectacularly divert it to safety, showing a flair for showmanship that his old man also possessed in his playing days.

Like father, like son, eh?
