The warm weather had us all looking for somewhere to go swimming, and these lads from Birr found a great spot to practice their diving
While they’re not exactly Olympic level yet, there was still some great technique from the three lads, who all play for Birr hurling club. James Roddy, Aaron Whelahan (son of Brian) and Sean Ryan all gave us a look at their best dives, as they enjoyed the best of the weather.
Paddy Ryan, who sent us on the video, noted that while Aaron might be better than his father on the diving front, the aul fella still has the edge when it comes to the hurling field, even though he’s retired.
So who would you pick for the best dive? The Superman one has our vote we reckon…
