Put the kettle on, put your feet up and enjoy twelve minutes of brilliance from one of the most skilful players the world has ever seen. Your day is about to be made.

He’s most certainly in his twilight years nowadays, but every now and then Ronaldinho still shows glimpses of what made him the best player in the world for a couple of years in the last decade and certainly one of the most outrageously skilful players of modern times.

Football fans on this side of the world saw the best of him at PSG, at Barcelona and at AC Milan but from his early days with Gremio through to his time at current club Atletico Mineiro, Ronaldinho has constantly shown his ability to produce skills both sublime and ridiculous, with plenty of nutmegs, mazy dribbles and two things he did perhaps better than anybody – the no-look pass and the ‘snake’ move – included in a glorious 12-minute compilation above.

What a player.
