Video: A Rory McIlroy mural and a Beach Boys soundtrack. Not your average hurling trick-shots clip

We had just assumed that all hurling trick-shot videos were made in Kilkenny and Kilkenny alone, but two lads from Belfast have shown that they’re pretty nifty with a hurley up north as well.

The above video, entitled ‘Holylands Schtick Ball’ was put together by Matthew Conlan and Connor Dorrian, who display their ability as stickmen by hitting various targets, including a bin, a kitchen cupboard and Rory McIlroy’s face... on his mural of course.

The clip is brief enough, but it’s impressive stuff and has a great soundtrack and while the two lads said that there were no cars harmed in the making of the video, we’re pretty sure we heard a thud that sounded a lot like a sliotar hitting a car after the very first shot in the video above.
