The Welshman hasn’t always lived up to his potential at Arsenal but he has started this season in a rich vein of form and after scoring in Turkey against Fenerbahce last week, he has been on the mark twice in tonight’s home tie at the Emirates.
Ramsey’s second goal of the night with just under 20 minutes remaining was particularly sweet, as he finished off a lovely move with a cushioned volley to the far corner from Kieran Gibbs’ cross to ensure the Gunners’ passage to the Champions’ League group stages.
