You might remember Michel Bastos from his time at Lyon, but these days he’s back playing in his native Brazil with Sao Paulo and last night he was guilty of a moment of madness that rightfully earned him a red card.
There appeared to be absolutely no need to go to ground on Everton of Flamengo on the touchline during their Campeonato Brasileiro encounter last night, but go to ground he did, launching himself two-footed towards his opponent and catching him with a nasty whack on the ankle.
That had to hurt.
