Video: Artist paints a brilliant Messi portrait with a football

This portrait is fitting, most unusual and brilliant in equal measures. We think Leo Messi would be more than proud of his portrait.

For a man who treats the pitch like his own canvas, the Barcelona striker will have to be acknowledge the wonderful ball skills of this painter, as the entire portrait is done using a football.

ATFLenard is the artist in question, and like anything that goes on YouTube, is on the receiving end of some criticism, with some suggesting it is a fake.

However it appears legit to us and we are glass half-full folk here at JOE, so unless we hear otherwise, we are believers. And the finished product looks pretty damn good to us.
