This hard line drive from Eric Hosmer caught Alex Cobb right in the head leaving him with a concussion
Alex Cobb will be waking up with a fairly sore head this morning after taking a line drive right in the noggin last night against the Kansas City Royals.
Cobb, the pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, took Hosmer’s hard hit in the right ear, and went straight down, looking like he was in a pretty bad way.
He was carried out on a stretcher and taken to hospital, where it was confirmed that he had suffered a concussion, but he tweeted out a message to the fans to let everyone know he was ok afterwards.
